It started with a simple question asked in a classroom: *“Who will protect our environment when we grow up?”* The answer came from the children themselves.

The Eco-Kids Tree Planting Program was born from the belief that children are not just future leaders, but powerful changemakers today. In many schools, playgrounds were bare, the sun was harsh, and lessons about climate change felt distant and abstract. Eco-Kids set out to change that by turning schools into living classrooms.

On planting day, excitement fills the air. Pupils gather with seedlings in their hands—mango, neem, shade, and native trees—each one labeled with a student’s name. Teachers explain how trees give us clean air, food, shade, and hope. For many children, this is the first time they have planted something themselves.

Each tree becomes a responsibility. Eco-Kids form small “Green Teams” to water, protect, and monitor their trees. They learn patience as weeks pass and tiny leaves appear. The trees grow, and so does the children’s confidence. They begin to see that their actions matter.

Parents and community members soon join in, proud to see schools becoming greener and cooler. What started as a single activity becomes a movement—schools sharing seedlings, children teaching other children, and communities embracing environmental care.

Today, Eco-Kids Tree Planting Program is planting more than trees. It is planting knowledge, responsibility, and hope. One child, one tree, one school at a time, Eco-Kids is growing a greener future for generations to come. 🌱
